Vacationista: Where we crashed in Korea

Standard

As much as I love fancy hotels, I also thoroughly enjoy staying in backpacking inns, especially when I’m with my friends! My friend booked us at Kimchi Hongdae Inn which only cost us P2,600 per person for 3 nights (we were 6 in the group). Sleeping quarters were decent, there were hot showers and heat inside (the most important!) plus the staff and guests (mostly Caucasian) were friendly. We were also near the shopping area with tons of beauty shops, restos, convenience stores and bars and the train station was walking distance away so going around was easy.

What I love about backpacking inns is that you get to meet a lot of people from different backgrounds with your love of traveling as the common factor! Such a refreshing way to learn more about other cultures and their countries and meet people from all walks of life.
