For Part I, check this link. This time around, learned some new things from our recent Taipei trip:
1. Utilize luggage lockers at the MRT or bus stations for hassle free touring
2. If taking the red eye flights, most stores would be closed by 11 or 12 midnight so make sure to spend loose local currency money beforehand
3. If in groups, decide to have some “pot money” for the whole group’s expenses. Assign a person to handle the money, complete with accounting if you’re OC like us, then decide how much to allot. For our Taipei trip, our initial pot money was NT2000 each. This covered all of our cab and train rides and meals we shared. This saved us a lot of time and energy!
4. Take photos of important details like your hotel business card or pin numbers of luggage lockers, just in case you lose the cards/paper with info
