Foodie review: SM’s Japanese Cheesecake

Standard

I saw this huge, round Japanese Cheesecake at SM and wished there was a smaller version so I could taste it first. Wish granted since SM actually carries small-sized ones. It’s big enough for 2 people to share over coffee or as dessert. For P38, it was pretty good, soft and tasty but not overwhelmingly sweet. Tasted like the one from Taiwan. I haven’t tried the ‘famous’ Unlce Tetsu’s Cheesecake but I’ll probably pass on buying that since SM’s version is mighty fine for a lower price.

I also saw the same cheesecake in Family Mart for a much higher price, about P65. I’m pretty sure they taste exactly the same. Plus, what to do with the old container? Reuse of course! Used the clear cover as a lipstick container! No to wastage!
